Peterhansel keeps overall lead in Dakar

Stephane Peterhansel of France kept his overall lead in the Dakar Rally despite finishing far off the pace in Fridays 12th stage. American Robby Gordon won the 245-kilometer (152-mile) special stage in a Hummer, but Peterhansel kept his overall lead in cars in front of Mini teammate Joan Roma of Spain as the rally heads into Saturdays penultimate and, possibly, decisive stage.
