Newman wins after last-gasp drama
Ryan Newman emerged victorious in a wild finish to the Martinsville NASCAR Sprint Cup race. Hendrick Motorsports had looked dominant until the closing laps, when a yellow came out just after Jeff Gordon had passed team-mate Jimmie Johnson to reclaim the lead he had held for most of the distance.
